Dear Mr. XXX

Ref. Porsche Cayenne S (VIN) WPxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you for your mail dated January 29th, 2011 addressed to Porsche AG (Germany).

Please accept our sincere apologies for such a delay in answering your inquiry.

The maintenance intervals for your vehicle are as follows:

Minor maintenance I: 20,000; 80,000; 140,000 ... km or in 1, 4, 7,... years (whichever comes first),
Minor maintenance II: 40,000; 100,000;160,000 ... km or in 2, 5, 8, …years (whichever comes first),
Major maintenance - 60,000; 120,000; 180,000 ... km or in 3, 6, 9,…years (whichever comes first).
Oil change - every 20,000 km or every 1 year (whichever comes first).

We would like also to draw your attention to the fact that the indicated oil change intervals are considered to be maximum intervals.
The recommendation given to you by the dealer to change oil and oil filter every 10,000 km is driven by the fact that the vehicle can be exposed to various unfavorable factors, e.g. low quality fuel filling, exceeding air dustiness, short distance trips at low external temperatures.

In your message you indicated that you get an "Add engine oil" message every 3,000 km and have to fill up around 1.5 liters.
Such oil consumption does not exceed the volumes indicated in the Driver's Manual - up to 1.5 liters per 1000 km.
In any event, should you have doubts as of the proper functioning of your vehicle or in case the oil consumption increase, please contact the service station of your Porsche Center.
